Forum Guidelines

All are welcome here as long as participation is in keeping with and in the spirit of our Mission Statement. Non-adherence to Forum Guidelines will lead to immediate suspension from this site. Inappropriate actions will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. If you have any questions regarding appropriateness or use of this site, please contact an Administrator.

1. Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. �Flaming� or abusing users in any way, or any type of
racial or ethnic slur, will not be tolerated; and will lead to a warning. This is a one-strike-and-you�re-out policy.

2. We are here to develop friendships and to be a support to one another; therefore, gossiping about other members will not be tolerated.

3. This board is aimed at a general audience. Therefore the following is not acceptable:
a. Posting of profanity, threats, pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. and will lead to immediate
termination.
b. Promoting of religious or political beliefs.
c. Spam is not tolerated under any circumstance.
d. Selling or soliciting members for your personal business or gain.

4. The site leaders (admin, moderators, support team) reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc., as noted in these points, is up to team leaders.

Welcome to Cooking Friends, where cooks of all experience levels gather to share with each other about cooking. This is not a teaching forum, however it is interactive regarding techniques the cook employed, etc. It is expected that each Cooking Friend contributes her own experiences to enrich other members. Our goal is to make this a haven from the busyness of our daily lives, to think and plan for our families & for ourselves, and to communicate with like-minded women.

Please feel free to read our Mission Statement and Forum Guidelines so you know what to expect; if the principles we share are of interest to you, then please consider joining in on our conversations.

It is our hope that you will register and become a part of our community for everyday cooks. Our free registration will allow you to participate more fully by joining in on our conversations, giving you access to members-only areas of the forum, as well as a more rewarding experience as we meet and get to know one another better. Your personal information will not be shared or used in any way but to allow you access to the forum. Once you register, you will receive a questionnaire from one of the Moderators. You must complete and return the questionnaire as this is a requirement for membership. The Moderators have various email addresses, please watch for their email. You will need to adjust your email options to receive an email confirmation, which will complete the process and enable you to sign in. Our forum email address is ourcookingfriends@yahoo.com

Mission Statement

To practice hospitality
by providing a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment
for everyday cooks to become friends
and to find a community of support and assistance
not only for preparing meals for themselves and their families,
but also for becoming the best they can be in their own lives.
